Okay I really am TRYING to get better at my blog posts...but let's be honest...I live in a world of daily Facebook updates...it's just easier!!  Well once again 3 months have flown by...honestly its just going too fast!!!  It's been a blur of Jesus Christ Superstar, dance lessons, dance recital, soccer practices in frigid weather (that are NOT Kelsey's favorite thing either-kid is definitely a girlie girl...don't know how I got that out of me...I so was NOT  girlie girl!!), Saturday dance parties with the girls, weddings, birthday parties...but thankfully the sicknesses have left our house during this time...THANK YOU GOD!!!! Here's a quick recap in pics for you all:

Some of the crazy cats from Superstar...it was a good time but exhausting while working and taking care of two kids....not sure if I can handle that again!  But I do love all those people!!

More cast members at the after party....I think I lasted a whole 45 minutes!

Me with the musical director...Carol somebody...

Me with Lisa and Amy...who I swear is pregnant every show we do

Kelsey after her first day of soccer practice....I assure you that adorable smile did not grace her face at the practice...this is in our backyard afterward.

Avery Joy...that little face is just too much for me some days

Looking at this pic of Avery makes me sad at how fast she's growing up...she looks so big..still almost bald though

My little munchkins

I took Kelsey to see her first musical this spring with my Mom "Peter Pan"...she was mesmerized!! Although she couldn't understand why she couldn't actually SEE Tinkerbell and that she was just a floating light on stage.

Waiting for Peter Pan to start...I love this child!

Easter dinner at Chuck's dads...girls were a nightmare...and yet they still invite us back!

We took the girls to the Strawberry Festival at Peddler's Village...it was such a beautiful day and Kelsey got her face painted for the first time...she was so excited!

This Mother's Day we participated in a charity 5K walk/run for friends of ours...lets be honest we walked...I nearly died after that first HUGE hill that seemed to go on for days...but it was a gorgeous day and the girls had fun!

Girls with their G.C. before the 5K

We went to our friends Brian and Ju's wedding up in North Jersey...nice to have a reason to get all dolled up and be kid free for a night (thanks to Chuck's Mom)

The bride and groom had a photo booth at the reception for their guests to take goofy shots and take home a copy as the favor...genius I thought!!!

Kelsey and her best bud Maggie before the dance recital

Me and my girl before the dance recital...she was so excited to be in that costume..you have no idea!!

Three of Kelsey's friends from her daycare were in her dance class - Eva, Maggie and Keira...they were so darn cute!!!

Well we still haven't bit the bullet and bought that Ordini pool yet...so the Target blow up special still works for us...and as you can see the girls are just fine with that!!!  Maybe in a year or two when they are better swimmers we'll invest in the big pool!!

Everyone enjoy your summer and stay cool!!!

Time passing too quickly

It never ceases to amaze me how fast time can go by when I remember to check my blog and realize that all of sudden it's been 5 months since my last post.  I mean I understand that having 2 little ones and 2 jobs would keep a person busy, but it seems like I should be able to find a few moments here and there to post on here.  Thankfully most everyone who knows me is on Facebook and can see what's happening with us on there....I'm fairly religious with posting on that.  Especially my daily thankfuls (although not always so "daily") and my "Funny kid quotes"...honestly the stuff coming out of Kelsey lately literally cracks me up.  And Avery is just now starting to talk at almost 18 months.  She's said Daddy forever...of course.  Still not saying Mommy clearly, but I know it will happen.  She tries to say Kelsey...she says All done and has just started the every feared "NO!!"....funny as anything at first...but we know it's going to get old quick!!

To sum up the last 5 months it's been crazy and fun and exhausting and hilarious!!  The girls keep us laughing daily...they are really playing together now which just warms my heart.  Sadly Avery has been sick fairly consistently...gotta love daycare!!  She is just now getting over a 5 day fever/virus that also resulted in sinus infection and double ear infection....the last of many!!  She is scheduled to get her tubes in next Tuesday.  Praying that she has as much success from them as Kelsey did.  Once Kelsey got her tubes she wasn't sick again for over a year.  Avery is an absolute pistol!!!  She is full on energy all the time.  She's growing like a weed...although her hair hasn't gotten the message.  She's still fairly bald...but cute as a button.

Kelsey is growing in leaps and bounds.  She started dance class and has her first recital in May....she is just the cutest thing in her little leotard...and thankfully she has a few class mates from her daycare in her dance class.  The Four Musketeers!!!  Kelsey had to have her tonsils and adenoids out in January due to sleep apnea and kissing tonsils.  It was a hard week of recovery but she no longer snores like a trucker!!  Her voice changed a little, which is so cute!!!

Here are a few pictures from the last 5 months (they're not in exact order):

We took the girls to Terhune Orchards in October to see the animals

Avery's 1st Birthday

I can't believe that Avery's 1st birthday has come and gone!!  That really seems to have gone much faster looking back then I know it did while I was going through it.  It's been one of the most stressful years of my life adjusting to two kids and it's been one of the most rewarding years of my life being blessed with these two munchkins!!  They truly make me laugh and smile every day and I can not imagine my life without them.  Here are some pics from Avery's special day.....

Avery's cake by a local baker that does this out of her house...she's amazing!!!

Avery's highchair all decked out!

Avery with Grandma Ordini

My little Sweet Potato...always smiling!!

She could catch flies with that smile!!

Anxiously awaiting her birthday cake...and keeping her hat on!!

This kid DOVE into her cupcake and icing...note hand in air covered with it!!

There's that smile again....love this kid!!

Kelsey's 3rd bday was 2 weeks before so I had the baker make a smash cake for Kelsey too.

Figures Avery doesn't do her huge smile in the one family shot of the day!

Happy 1st Birthday Avery Joy!!!!
